Empirical Probability of an event is the ratio of the number of outcomes in which a specified event occurs to the total number of trials, in an actual experiment.

Ratio of the number of outcomes in which a specified event occurs can not be greater than total numbers

Hence probability can not be greater than 1

5/4 > 1

Hence 5/4 can not be  an empirical probability of an event
