Can a body have 0 velocity and finite acceleration?Explain

It is literally possible for the same body to have zero velocity and finite acceleration if a ball is thrown vertically upward. At top most there is zero velocity and ball gradually falls with finite acceleration. ... But at a given point in time, an accelerating object can have zero velocity.
