Can a brain dead person sense external stimuli? If yes then how coz brain is main coordinator and if it is dead then how will impulse travel?

the medical definition of death means absence of brain stem activity or no nerve impulses and no heart beat.thus if a person dies how will he sense external stimuli without nerve impulses or brain activity.but if u keep the body in liquid nitrogen and use some shock treatment machines he may have a chance of recovering.this should be done 5minutes after or before his death
