yes it can...

combustion reaction- reaction that takes place when 2 or more substances combine together to form a single substance.

Eg- copper oxide + Hydrogen gives copper+ water

redox reaction- oxidation- adding of oxygen and removal of hydrogen

reduction- adding of hydrogen and removal of oxygen

Eg- copper oxide + Hydrogen gives copper+ water

here copper oxide is being reduced to copper and hydrogen is being oxidised to form water.

As u might have notice both the reactions share the same example hence proved.
