Can a force directed north balance a force directed east?Explain

No you cant balance a force in that way. ... To balance the force directed to east, the force directed to north should have a component directed to west (opposite to east) and this component should be equal to Y KN. So for the force directed to north; the angle between north and west is 90 degrees.
