a solar panel cannot be directly connected to a television set because it provide direct current which cannot be altered in voltage and since it is known that various part of television use various values of voltages for which transformer is used and in case of direct current there will be no current induced in the secondary coil because there will be no change in magnetic flux therefore the television will not work if it is connected to a solar panel
