Answer:

Trapezium has two sides parallel and other two sides are non parallel. Parallel sides may be equal or unequal but we cannot have a trapezium with all sides and angles equal.

why not !?!!

see,

when we learn the definition of trapezium, what do we learn is 'a quadrilateral having it's one pair of opposite sides parallel is known as a trapezium' .

we never learn it as 'a quadrilateral having it's one pair of opposite sides non-parallel'

having one pair of opposite sides parallel is the basic criteria it doesn't mean that it can't have another side parallel too or it's sides can't be equal in length.

I would like to clarify it more by an example if I'm permitted to....

so yaah!!

take the example of square (a perfect quadrilateral ) , you know what, each and every square is a rhombus, a rectangle, a parallelogram, a kite and a trapezium because it satisfies all the conditions required to be that specific figure.

sorry flow flow mei kuch zaada hi bol gyi

hope aapko clear hogya ho

thank you
