Producing offspring without zygote formation (fertilisation) is definitely possible. We call it as parthenogenesis. In this the egg, on its own develops to form a new offspring without fertilisation. Some examples are.

  1. Lizards

       2.Honeybees

              3..Birds (turkey)

                      4.Rotifers

                      Some plants.
