there are many reasons for these . Mainly as the following

1. they had been interfering in the lives of tribals.

2.capturing and reduce  the authority of tribal chiefs.

3. caused disturbance in the trading of tribals.

4. forced tribals to work for british.

5. not allowing them into the forests and forest laws made by british.

6. prevented them from performing their tribal traditions

⭕The tribal people practiced shifting cultivation but the British forced them to follow settled agriculture.
