Can any one explain the figure of speech 'Apostrophe'?
pls give some examples.

Apostrophe- here, inanimate objects or non living things are directly addressed by the poet. lifeless object are spoken to,as if they were living.

For example,
Oh death ! have you no pity ?
although thy breath be rude.
