We know that more reactive element displaces less reactive element from its solution so:-
a) Zinc displaces hydrogen from sulphuric acid and forms zinc sulphate. It means Zinc is more reactive than hydrogen.
b) Magnesium displaces hydrogen from hydrochloric acid and forms Magnesium chloride. It means magnesium is more reactive than Hydrogen.
