6) One night I was walking home alone through a dark street. Suddenly I came across a bungalow from which I heard a shrill voice. I was petrified for a few minutes and could not do anything. A few seconds later I mustered up courage and went up to the front door of the house. The door was slowly opened by a small boy and to my surprise I did not see any adult along with him.
I asked the boy if he was in any danger. He pointed at a door and asked me come inside. I hesistated a minute but my curiosity got the better of me. He led me to the door he pointed out and as he opened the door, I looked inside. I saw a huge television set in which he was watching a horror film all alone. Relief came over me and I laughed all the way back to the front door and came out of the bunglow.
Once back on the road, I turned back to have one look at the bungalow. There on the highest room of the house, I saw six pairs of eyes watching me.
7) I was reading a book. When I looked up, there at the window I saw a small pup trying to get into the room through the half-opened window.
I was overjoyed to see a cute little pup and immediately opened the window to let it in. As soon as I did that, the pup jumped into the room and along with him jumped inside 50 more pups which looked exactly like him. The pups jumped all over me, licked me and ran around the room excitedly. I was thrilled to see so many pups in my room especially because I always wanted to have a dog at home.
The pups climbed on top of my bed along with me and snuggled into my bed and licked me all over my face and I laughed out loud enjoying every moment of this surprise attack. I suddenly woke up from my sleep and as I came to my senses, I realized it was just a dream. But to my surprise, there was a cute little pup on my lap, exactly like the one I saw in my dream, and my dad standing next to me with a broad smile on his face.
8) Mallapur is a very peaceful village. Everyone is simple, honest and hardworking in the village. They never interfered much in the activities of the villagers unless someone asked for help.
One day five men enter the village in a huge van, dressed in fashionable clothes. They tell the villagers that they are tourists and have come to visit the village and enjoy the serenity of the village. After they spend the day in the village, they engage the village head in the conversation and tell him that they are going to help the villagers become rich. They promise them employment and collect money from each villager. The gullible villagers feel happy that they would get a chance to earn a little more.
That night the five men sneak out of their hut and escape in their van. In the morning the villagers come to know that they are cheated by the men. Some of the young me, who know the area well volunteer to search for the cheats and teach them a lesson. Armed with sticks, the young me take a short route which takes them to the nearest highway. Luckily for them, the five men are found sleeping in their van on the side of the highway.
The villagers catch hold of them, beat them up, and drag them back to the village to punish them. The men are then made to work on their fields for the entire day as a punishment and after a couple of days, they leave the men to go back to the city.
