Answer:

The vernacular language is simply defined as the language spoken in the streets. This is the language that will be heard spoken among st the common people, and used to define and identify the groups of people. The Vernacular Language impacted and changed the cultures during the early centuries. Some of the main factors contributed and were responsible for the rise and spread of the vernacular language were demand of spreading religion, demand of education, and the need of a commonly spoken language for the literature to be produced in to be available to all.

Vernacular Language is still important for the more effective development of the country and for involving each and every part in the development. Importance of vernacular language can be understood by the words of former President of India Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam who once said that science education should be imparted to children in vernacular language to bring creativity and enable easy grasp of the subject. He advised teachers to bring out creativity in children and teach them science in their mother-tongue. Kalam advised teachers to make children employment generators and not mere employment seekers’.

There are several differences in the Vernacular medium school and English medium school which provide several different benefits to the generation.
