gaurd cell is present in stomatal pore.The opening and closing of pore is done by gaurd cell. The gaurd cell swell when water flows into them, this helps stomata to open the pore.similarly pore clos when gaurd cell shrink.

Guard cells are specialized plants cells in the epidermis of leaves, stems and other organs that are used to control gas exchange. they are produced in pairs with a gap between them that forms as stomated pore.
