Hi ,

Here I am using A instead of theta.

SinA = 1/3 ----( 1 )

CosecA = 3/1 ----( 2 )

Now ,

2cot²A + 2

= 2 ( cot² A + 1 )

= 2 cosec² A

[ Since cot² A + 1 = cosec² A ]

= 2 × 3 [ from ( 2 ) ]

= 6
