Least count = Distance or total value between two points / Number of divisions
Here the distance refers to the value . E.g between 2 to 5 means distance is
5 - 2 = 3.
Like that
Distance between 0 to 0.5 = 0.5 - 0 = 0.5
Total divisions between them = 10
Therefore least count or one divison is equal to 0.5/10 = 0.05
Therefore 17 divisions = 17 * 0.05 = 0.85
Therefore Ammeter Needle shows the reading of 0.85 A.
