Hi there !!

Given,

Area of circle = 616cm²

To find the circumference, we need the radius,

Let the radius be 'r'

Area of circle= πr²

616 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}

 \frac{616 \times 7}{22}  =  {r}^{2}

r² = 196
r = ✓196
r = 14cm

We know that,

Circumference of a circle = 2πr

 =  2 \times \frac{22}{7}  \times 14

= 88cm

Thus,

the circumference is 88cm

SOLUTION:
Circumference of the Circle: The distance covered by travelling once around a circle is called the circumference of the length of boundary of a circle.

Given:
Area of circle = 616 cm²

Let r be the radius of the circle.
Area of circle = πr²

616 = (22/7) (r)²
r² = (616 ×7 ) / 22
r² = 28 × 7 = 196
r² = 196
r = √ 196

r √ 14 ×14 = 14 cm

Circumference of the Circle = 2πr
Circumference of the Circle = 2 × (22/7) × 14 = 2× 22 × 2 = 44 × 2 = 88 cm.

Hence , the Circumference of the Circle is 88 cm.
