carboxylic acids so this distinguish the aldehydes

In case of aldehydes we have the carbonyl group attached with hydrogen atom but in case of ketones the carbonyl group is attached both sides with the carbon atoms when we react the aldehyde with tollens Reagent fehling solution or Benedict Reagent order schiff Reagent it will give the different type of reactions but Ketone doesn't same in the case of assets when we have assets the group c o o h has resonance as well as esters also show the resonance due to the resonance the ketonic group so doesn't react as the reaction of aldehyde reacts with tollens reagent as well as another reagent
