can anybody explain me trophic level clearly
Answers
A trophic level is the group of organisms within an ecosystem which occupy the same level in a food chain. ...
The second trophic level consists of herbivores, these organisms gain energy by eating primary producers and are called primary consumers.
Trophic levels three, four and five consist of carnivores and omnivores.
Trophic levels represent the different participants / organisms of a food chain. The lowest level always being the producers(like plants or some algae) and then above producers we have primary consumers(herbivores like goat, sheep, deer, etc) and the above them we have secondry consumers (carnivores like lion, tiger, leapord, etc) and then on the top there are tertiary consumers whom are not consumed by anyone (like humans). The number of levels in the Tropic level are limited because of constrained energy flow(10% energy law)
I hope it helps. xx
