can anybody help me that the exact aluminum valency is AL4 so in equation why we write it AL3?? dear mates i am very confuse . pls help me in this​

The valency of aluminum is 3

because in its valence shell it has 3 electrons.

Aluminium's atomic no. is 13 = 2,8,3

and the valence electron ( electron of the last shell) determines the valency.

Hence, valency of aluminum Is 3 ..
