(a) Using Pythagoras theorem
Where BC=Tree
AC= Broken Tree=5m
AB=Road =4m
So, AC²=AB²+BC²
Putting the values
5²=4²+BC²
25=16+BC²
BC²=25-16
BC²=9
BC=√9
BC=3m
So,The total height of tree=BC+AC
Putting the values
3+5=8m
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU MARK ME BRAINLIEST
To find the angle
angle B=90°
Let the angle A=x
and angle C=x
so,sum of the three angles
is equal to 180°
90+x+x=180
2x=180-90
x=90/2
x=45°
so angle A=45°
and angle C=45°
