can anyone answer what is Constitutional debates

a. The Constituent Assembly functioned in an open, consensual and systematic manner. The members of the Assembly laid great emphasis on discussions and reasoned argument. The way the deliberations took place in the constituent Assembly it undoubtedly gave sanctity to our Constitution. There was a general consensus on some basic principles to be adopted.
​b. The drafting committee headed by B.R Ambedkar prepared a draft constitution. This draft was discussed, debated and deliberated.
c. Each clause of this draft constitution was scrutinised, discussed in detail with reason., that formed part of constitutional debates.
d. Every document presented ,every word that was spoken by the members was recorded and preserved.These debates which spread over three years and provided rationale and credibility behind every provision of the constitution.
e. These debates were printed in 12 volumes.
