\huge\underline \mathfrak\orange{Answer}

The energy possessed by a body when it is in the state of motion is its kinetic energy.

kinetic energy of a body depends on its mass and its speed.

KE =  \frac{1}{2} mv²

where m = mass of the body

v = speed of the body

SI of kinetic energy is same as that of energy i.e. joules(J) and its derived unit is kg.m2 s-2

Hope it helps !

Answer:

Kinetic energy is the energy an object has because of its motion. ... After work has been done, energy has been transferred to the object, and the object will be moving with a new constant speed. The energy transferred is known as kinetic energy, and it depends on the mass and speed achieved.
