hydrological cycle is also called as water cycle
《《《《
it is the cycle in which water is transformed from water(oceans) to water(rainfall).
the first phase is evaporation.
here the water
in the water bodies is converted into water vapour by heat absorption. the heat is from sun. During this phase, water vapour is also added by transpiration.
the second phase is condensation.
the vapour is lighter than air.therefore it goes into the troposphere. in this atmospheric layer,
the temperature is below 4°C.here the vapour condenses back into water or ice.ice is formed if it reaches more height. this water(or)ice is in the clouds in form of water(or)ice droplets .
the third phase is precipitation.
here the clouds once they are fully stacked with droplets, the water is released in the form of rainfall.this rainfall supplies the water back to earth.if ice is stored ,once the temperature too falls,it is sent down in the form of hail, dew, snow.

this is the cycle with three stages.
