Explanation:

hiiii

Issac newton said that the motion of sound wave in air is isothermal but this is wrong because experimental value and calculated value is different

then after Laplace said that motion of sound wave is adiabatic process and thereafter both value get matched

please don't forget to follow me thanks

prediction given by newton-

The movement of sound wave in air is isothermal.....that is their is not,any effect on temperature, with the movement of saound wave....

But,when, the scientist try to calculate it through experiments ,they found the value which is much more different from theoretical value of Newton

Laplace law- Laplace proposed the ,theory, which explains that the movement of sound wave in air is adiabatic.....

this theory, approximately matches with the experimental value........

that theory, given by Laplace is said to be as Laplace correction.......
