kushalankur09p5h135: there are two force that acts inside the nucleus one is strong force and the other is electrostatic. strong force is greater than electrostatic . that is why due to strong force they attract each other inside the nucleus

Yes they can attract each other but not by electrostatic force, but by another force called the nuclear force. It is not practically observed because it is observable within 10 Fermi only.

It's so small that if you placed protons 10 Fermi apart in a line. Then in one metre, you would have used 100000000000000 protons in that process.
