In this diagram, here is a convex mirror so Ray get deflected and virtually passed to the focus.

when a light ray which is travelling parallel to principal axis incident on convex mirror , it reflects as it is coming from the focus..
convex surface is different from concave surface..
just opposite to it is the above one..
if light ray which is incident appears to cone from focus then after reflection it goes parallel to the principal axis..
remember the same case in concave mirror..
