Can anyone give a good information about thyroid gland, it's Hormone, structure, functions, diseases caused???? Not form wekipedia..... Pls pls pls

it is located along the side of trachea just below the larynx in neck. Thyroid is H- shaped gland. its two lobes are connected by a narrow isthmus. It secrets two important hormones:
thyroxine, calcitonin

hyposecretion causes simple goitre
hypersecretion causes Plummer disease
