Panguni Uthiram is a day importance to Tamil Hindus. It falls on the day moon transmits in the nakshattiram of uttara phalguni in the 12th month of Tamil calender , it is panguni which is the full moon of the month .

This full moon signifies the marriage of Parvati and Parameswara ,Murugan and Deivanai, and Aandaal (also known as Kothai) and Rangamannar took place. On Panguni Uthiram, Narayana marries Komalavalli Naachiyar and give his Kalyana Kola Seva to his Bhakthas.

Again, Valmiki's Ramayana says it is on this day and star that Sita's marriage with Rama was celebrated. From Brahmanda Puranam we learn that on Panguni Uthiram every holy water joins Thumburu teertha (also spelt as Tirtha), one of seven sacred tanks in Tirupati Tirumala.

Mathura, Vrindavan, Nandagaon, and Barsana, Kumaoni (Uttarakhand) , also as Basatotsav (Bengal), Phagwah (Bihar), Ganga Mela (UP) , Rangapanchami (MP), Basnata Panchami (AP), Shimga (Maharashtra), Manjal Kuli (Kerala), Panguni Uthram Vasanthotsavam (TN).

Mostly it coincides with the end of Rang Panchami; Phalgun Krushnapaksh Panchami celebrations, so called Panchami of Holi of Krishna, which carries on as a celebration of spring. .

hope it helps you ....Mark it as brainliest
