Let , No of Shorts of getting 2 points=x
and No of Shorts of getting one point i.e foul=y
Total number of points he get,N= 14
Acc to ques, x=3y
2x +y=14
2*3y+y=14
6y+y=14
7y=14
y=2
x=3*2=6
So, x=6,y=2
