Explanation:

Given -

  1. A particle of mass m moving in a circle of radius r with uniform speed v.
  2. Force∝m^a v^b r^c

To Find -

  • Value of a, b & c

Solution -

Force ∝m^a v^b r^c

→ MLT-² = k M^a (LT-¹)^b (L)^c

→ MLT-² = M^a L^b+c T^-b

After Comparing -

→ M¹ = M^a

a = 1

And

→ T-² = T^-b

→ -2 = -b

b = 2

And

→ L¹ = L^b+c

→ 1 = b + c

→ 1 = 2 + c

c = -1

Hence,

The required value of

a = 1

b = 2

c = -1
