can anyone please divide 3 by 11 and explain how it came the ans is 0.2727 but i am getting it wrong i cant understand please help me with this

As 3 is < than 11 a point is placed in the quotient and 3 becomes 30. 2 into 11 is 22 which is subtracted by 30 gives 8. 0.2 is the quotient. Then 8 becomes 80 as it is smaller than 11. 11 into 7 is 77. 77 minus 80 is 3. Then again 3 becomes 30 then 8 becomes 80 and the cycle continues. Thus 0.2727272727272727.... is the answer. 27 keeps on repeating. To represent this we can place a bar on top of 27.
