Can anyone please help me in this question? How could XY-YX=18. I am stuck in this question.

it's a 64 - 46 = 18 where let x be 6 and y be 4.

symphony1: yes but i am confused as you said 64:46 which is right, it could be 42-24=18, 53-35=18 .....one thing is common in all these digits difference of digits is 2. Is there any trick or formula?????

42-24=18 X is 4 and y is 2

symphony1: Yes in this problem Difference of digits will be 2 like u said 42-24=18 here differnce of digit is 2 (4-2=2). Other answers could be 64-46=18, 53-35=18, ,,,,,difference of digit is 2. what is the trick behind this??
