1)Consumer Protection Council,Consumer Forums and Consumer Clubs are formed at different places where people can seek help.

2)The enactment of COPRA as per the Consumer Protection Act ,1896, has been to safeguard the interest of the consumers and protecting them against exploitation.

3)The Consumers are given certain Rights like Right to safety,Right to be informed,,Right to seek redressal,etc ... These rights empower the consumer .
