hello friend....!!!

according to the given question , we should find the effective capacitance between A and B .

let us consider , the upper 3μF as C3 and the bottom capacitance as C4 and the middle two as C1 and C2 respectively ,

⇒ C2 and C4 are parallel so ,

C = 3 + 3 = 6μF -----------( 1 )

now , C1 and C are in series so ,

C" = CC1 / C1 + C

therefore ,

C" = 6 X 3 / 6 + 3

C" = 18 / 9 = 2μF   ------------( 2 )

now ,

C"  is parallel with C3 ,

therefore the effective capacitance between A  and B is ,

 C_{eq}   = C3 + C"

therefore ,

 C_{eq} = 2 + 3 = 5μF .

---------------------------------------------------------------

therefore the answer is option ' D '  = 5μF .

---------------------------------------------------------------

hope it helps...!!!
