Hi,

Ans = More than 19.6 m/s

From the question we understand that after 2 seconds the ball reaches a velocity of ‘0′.

let initial velocity be ‘u’

Final Velocity is ‘0′

acceleration on the ball is gravity i.e. g = -9.8 m/s^2

From equations of Kinematics:

v=u+gt

u=-gt since v=0, t=2 sec

u= -(-9.8*2)

u=19.6 m/s

Now,

We know,

s=ut+ (1/2)gt^2 where s is the distance travelled.

s= 39.2–19.6

s= 19.6 meters.

Therefore the height reached by ball is 19.6 meters

Hope this helps you mate all the best ✌️✌️✌️✌️
