The Displacement is the area under the v vs t graph.

Since Displacement is the shortest path between the initial and final position we should subtract the negative area from positive area.

Area of positive area =1/2 X b X h

                                   =1/2 X 5 X 6= 15m

Area of negative area =1/2 X b X h

                                      =1/2 X 5 X 4=10m

So Displacement is 15-10=5m

Distance is the sum of the areas.

So Distance is 15+10=25m
