25 watt i am confuse if u 220v divided by 100watt so you gave 2.2 per watt so if u know the 110v how much watt it source so u multiply 2.2 watt from 110 u gave the approx answer

answer : option (b) 25 watt

explanation : resistance of bulb, R = V²/P

where V = 220 volts and P = 100 watt

so, R = (220)²/(100) = 484 ohms

hence, resistance of bulb is 484 ohms.

now bulb is connected to source of 110 volts. e.g., E = 110 volts

so, power consumed by bulb, P = E²/R

= (110)²/484 watt

= 12100/484 watt

= 25 watt

hence, power consumed by bulb is 25 watt.
