+ (√3 - 1)/{(√3 + 1)(√3 - 1)}

= (3 - √7)/(9 - 7) + (√7 - √5)/(7 - 5) + (√5 - √3)/(5 - 3) + (√3 - 1)/(3 - 1)

= (3 - √7)/2 + (√7 - √5)/2 + (√5 - √3)/2 + (√3 - 1)/2
