Answer :

Now,

L.H.S. = 1/(3 + √7) + 1/(√7 + √5) + 1/(√5 + √3) + 1/(√3 + 1)

= (3 - √7)/{(3 + √7)(3 - √7)}
+ (√7 - √5)/{(√7 + √5)(√7 - √5)}
+ (√5 - √3)/{(√5 + √3)(√5 - √3)}
+ (√3 - 1)/{(√3 + 1)(√3 - 1)}

= (3 - √7)/(9 - 7) + (√7 - √5)/(7 - 5) + (√5 - √3)/(5 - 3) + (√3 - 1)/(3 - 1)

= (3 - √7)/2 + (√7 - √5)/2 + (√5 - √3)/2 + (√3 - 1)/2

= (3 - √7 + √7 - √5 + √5 - √3 + √3 - 1)/2

= (3 - 1)/2

= 2/2

= 1 = R.H.S. [Proved]
