Total surface area= area of cubical block + area of hemisphere - area of a circle = 6×49 + π× 7/2×7/2= 294+22×7/4=294+154/4=294+38.5=332.5 cm^2

RAHULSEN504: but the answer is 332.5 cm^2
Ezekiel1: Now i edited it.. u may check
Ezekiel1: because side of cube is treated as diameter of hemisphere
RAHULSEN504: o thanks a lot
Ezekiel1: It's a 10th standard and i think it's exercise 13.1.. Related to Area and Volume.
RAHULSEN504: yeah u r almost correct but this book is for icse 2019 and the chapter is 20. probably it was 13 in the older version of the books.
Ezekiel1: yes i told NCRT accordance.
RAHULSEN504: are u talking about the curved surface area or total surface area of the hemisphere?
Ezekiel1: curved area.
