Let the two numbers be a,b( a>b)
Given: a-b=3
•°• a = 3+b ....(equation 1)
Sum of 2b+3a=19
(Apply the equation 1 )
2b+3×(3+b)=19
2b+9+3b=19
5b+9=19
5b=19-9=10
b=10/5
b=2
Substitute in equation 1
3+b-b=3
3+2-2=3
5-2=3
a-b=3
Hence a=5,b=2
