We are giving heat to system . Some of heat will use for in work for expand the vapour ( change the volume ) and rest in internal energy

Work at constant pressure

P( V2 - V1) = 10^5 × ( 1671 cm3 )

Since 1cm = 10^ -2 m

= 10^5 × 1671 × 10^(-6) m3

= 167.1 J

Definition of latine heat is energy given to convert 1gm to vapour at B.P.

Since total substance here is 1 gm

So we gave total 2256 J to system . and 167 went to expand gas .

So change in internal energy = 2256 - 167.1 = 2088.9 J = 2089 J *(approx)
