Hey user,
here is your answer...
____________________________________________
Let \: the \: speed \: of \: the \: streamer \: in \: still \: water \: be \: x \: \frac{km}{hr} \\ speed \: of \: the \: water = 2 \frac{km}{hr} \\ speed \: of \: the \: streamer \: in \: downstream = (x + 2) \frac{km}{hr} \\ speed \: of \: the \: streamer \: in \: upstream = (x - 2) \frac{km}{hr} \\ distance \: covered \: in \: 5 \: hrs = 5(x + 2) \\ distance \: covered \: in \: 7\: hrs = 7(x - 2) \\ According \: to \: question, \\ = > 5(x + 2) = 7( x - 2) \\ = > 5x + 10= 7x- 14 \\ = > 5x - 7x= -14-10 \\ = > - 2x = - 24 \\ = > x = \frac{-24}{-2}\\= >x=12 \\ Therefore \: speed \: of \: the \: streamer \: in \: still \: water \: is \: 12\: \frac{km}{hr}.
