Facebook it is a social app.in day to day life this becames famous for chatting. you should convinced their parent that from this the student can get contact with everyone and also say them that their parents must open account for relax..

As Facebook is a social media some parents refuses their to use it....as a parent his/her parents are also frightened of letting their child to use it...you should convince your parents by telling them positive about the fb....and can tell that you can have frnds worldwide..you can make new friends on it...
