Hey mate here is ur answer
The Adam apple, in conjunction with the thyroid cartilage which forms it, helps protect the walls and the frontal part of the larynx, including the vocal cords (which are located directly behind it). Another function of the Adam Apple  is related to the deepening of the voice.

heya!!

here is your answer ⤵️⤵️⤵️

==> The Adam's apple is actually a partial growth of our voice box or larynx.

==> The larynx is made up of 9 cartilages one of which is the largest, called as thyroid cartilage.

==> the adams apple is formed due to elongation of the thyroid cartilage which protudes out in front of the neck.

==> This is caused mainly by some male hormone during adolesence.

==> As a result, muscles attached to the cartilage get loosened and thickened.

==> When air passes through these loosened and thickened chords a hoarse sound is produced.

==> the laryngeal prominence is usually more prominent in adult men than in adolescent boys.

==> this is the reason for disturbance in your voice in the stage of adolescence stage you will get perfect voice .
