A tiny tabby kitten, with sad brown eyes.
Sat on the porch of a broken down house.
He was about to become homeless,
without any food, not even a mouse.
I stood and gazed at this poor lonely cat.
Shook my head and placed him in my hat.
A long drive across the city we drove.
Now Tiger sits cozily in front of our stove.
