This poem is written by William Blake.
He is considered as earliest poet of Romantic Movement in 19th century.
However in poem Chimney Sweeper he sowed the seeds of Romanticism via subjective poetry.
He vibrates revolutionary zest and protest against the social evils.
The speaker comforts Tom, who falls asleep and has a dream or vision of several chimney sweepers all locked in black coffins.
