Can artificial intelligence be applied to living beings?

The only way to make an AGI smarter is to increase the abstraction capacity. And, while this is theoretically possible, it isn’t free. Abstraction has to be balanced with both abstractive valuation and focal relevance. And there is reason to believe that this relationship is logarithmic so you get less improvement with each order of magnitude increase until the gain is negligible. It might end up easier to find a super smart human.
