just like any other photon which comes to rest after hitting an opaque body and contributes to the energy contained within the black hole making it larger (obviously that enlargement would be minute, much like infinitesimal).

by the term rest it denotes to being absorbed, or energy .

since by definition a photon travels at speed of light and can’t be put to ‘rest'.
