Hii dear,

# Answer- Yes

# Explaination-
# Coefficient of friction-
- It's the measure of resistance offered by surface to sliding of object over it.
- For a object sliding over rough surface, If normal force is N, frictional force is given by,
F = μN
where μ=coefficient of friction
μ = F/N

# μ > 1 If,
- Value of coefficient of friction can be greater than 1 if frictional force is more than normal force. For example, with silicon rubber.

Hope that is useful...

Answer:

Yes, when the contact surfaces are polished too much then the adhesive forces between the molecules increases and the value of coefficient of friction will be greater than unity.
